the real host and the devil had Pete who was neutral good/evil tricked cause god

another day in the life, driving herself to work
it seemed same as the night, crying in the hurt
dying or disturbed, the light was red as blood
and the life she lived was already dead to some
she read the front, but the book of life grows
so instead she'd run, a page turner was it? no.

for an escape she closed the doors to her mind
the back of her eyelids seen through her eyes

then she used the opener and came out the sleep
this moment in time should have been unshowed
she screamed at the baby carriage rolling in the road
impulses couldn't grow, her foot on the gas didn't move
and the green light made the motion a simple groove
the wheel flew off, and left on the window a shoe
"God? what in the world did i do?" is it through?
the skies weren't blue, and the clouds didn't pass
mother earth was you, the umbilical cord sat in the grass
but this baby was gone, and no spectator could ask
police roped of the scene, irony, were together at last...

weeks or so passed, months and years, and the wish
attention...why in the world didn't she open the door for him
it sored her whims, controlled her sins, but bored her friends
what couldn't they get? live? how, when she just killed a kid
it spilled the sick, buckets of the clouds, sent them right down
the drops of unity smashed the ground and died with a frown
sigh at those sounds, but now she must move on, find herself
and see through the feelings that so often blind her health
try to help, scream, she started the car while living in the mirage
help her, please!, she turned up the radio, not opening the garage

all along, was this meant to be the end of the road die right here?
her mind started fuzzing and she could she the blinding real clear
trying to fight fear she couldn't punch her energy was weakened
the end, not another day, not a thought, not an hour or a weekend
she fell to the place opposite of sleepless, lost her breathe and mind
she had a dream that she was in her position with that baby behind
her seat, to think this shit, and she couldn't wake up, ready to die
but the wind blew the garage door down and she survived.....

ok ill kick this off with my vote...Sands was nice, i like the way it was set up and spit...

okay. Here we go. This was closer than I thought it would be.

T-Square-Your verse was really fuckin cool. It was really strange too, and the concept was hard to grasp. You had some nice metaphors in there. I didn't understand it very well until the explaination at the end.

Sand-Your verse was fucked in the goat ass. It was incredibly weird. I understood the story, and the twists, but your wordplay was just so irregular, it almost freaked me out. The umbelical cord lies in the grass? wow, that was dope. Fuck, it was wicked.

best topical battle of this round, seemed to have brought out the best in both. . T-Pound came a lot better than I thought, and was really competitive with Sand.

However, Sand's personification and overall metaphorical values never cease to amaze me. Along with the structure and vocabulary he uses, you can only hope to catch him on an off day. .

Sand I will give you credit, your metas were off the hook
BUT you posted like less than 12 hours before the VOTING deadline...
And I do keep up on RB as means of elevation, but I relly dont think
that you played this story as well as me, you are jus more popular
to RB and they felt you more cause your SAND but you are also a Mod

T=....ur verse was dope and very original in its concept
nice to read regardless of what folks said....i found it fairly easy to grasp what it was about...well told and some nice imagery

Sand....again a dope verse....good original stuff as well
very nice structure and great word play and imagery as well through out
