So i'm guessing you wanna make audio doing opera type singing arrangements right? Well get up about 20 G's to start you out with recording equip. Then go buy a nice lil house with an extra room.. Pay someone to sound proof it and all that, get ALL your gear set up and tuned by professionals.. Hire someone to teach you how to use all that shit... And presto.

Soundcard...
or you can get an interface, wich will work as a pre amp and soundcard...
Pop Filter...
Cables...
Mic Stand...
Nice Headphones...

What you actually need...
go look at the mic and interface threads at the top of the forum... then get prices... as far as headphones... I recommend Sony MDR 7506's... they are workhorses... & the smaller version of the headphones used on the white rapper show in Just Blazes studio.
