Simon Says: Cleanse the Psalms
Simon my idol, what is it you preach?
Each to his own, flames burn & reach
A correctional convention, depreciation
So I’ll buy perfumed balms to………………
………………..cleanse the psalms
I knocked on house number 23….
There lived a Shepard………….
He cleansed my soles, burning embers & coals
Stole a few minutes reciting the Kingdoms goals
Boils on the whore, spoils from wars…………
Plus the oiled foils, neighing silently in moulds
I listen intently with intention walking in pain
I fear Satan accursed, my mind bursts & stains
The Shepard drowning against will, fenced bills
Fenced heads on spikes, a river of bloody ills
Stilts of shame covered in quilts of gained kills
And there I stand in the valley of death alone
a dead Shepard navigating a practitioner home
Simon the disciple, what is it you preach?
All for 1 & 1 for all bring death to the leech
a community sharing communion.....
Communication by radios made of plutonium
So I’ll share the perfumed balms....................
............................To jointly cleanse the psalms
I knocked on house number 91....
There lived the protected............
He held me afar, gleaming eyes in fair par
Judging my grey shell, bloody eyes & scar
Recoiled in spite, uncoiled his might.........
Let loose a toiled fight, my spoiled delight
I fall knee weak a martyr, stumped stature
Protector speaks he shouts me a fracture
Mirages vanish & I hang dead from a tree
Resurrected to witness a dissolving history
He’s Devolving with a revolver of misery
Mercy! Mercy Jehovah, reeking of leprosy
And there stood the lord, with him water came
He unravelled my mind & doused the flame
I then knocked on a Gnostic’s house.......
And there lived the Cyrene family..........
Simon of Cyrene, what did you say?
Carrying Jesus’ cross that awful day
you were nailed, blood further entailed
Hailed in mockery, the whips sailed
And you said, “Lord, why have you
Forsaken me?” You bruised blue & red
so I’ll buy the pen & sell the balms......
..........Re-write your due upon psalms
If Simon of Cyrene had been impaled
On the cross, then had Jesus’ prayers been
Answered in the Gethsemane Gardens?
