Two Hearts, One Beat



Visualize a palace or place, crystallized gates, where our Lord awaits
No malice or hate towards any race because present is God’s loving grace
And before the dying seconds of my life, as I rise toward the golden walls
The kingdom of the lord beckons as “Come forward” my guardian angel calls
As I walk over the clouds, children of different races play with a smile
As they talk out aloud, their voices of happiness are so peaceful and agile
The slightest glimpse of a blinding light that forces me to my knees as it draws near
The presence of God is all I hear as I look up and can only shed a tear
The blinding light has a face of a father that is strict yet full of love
This man is no-one but the lord as on his right shoulder lands a white dove
And as the angels approach and prepare, for my judgment glooms near, I feel odd
Because I remember the preacher would always say “Thy shall fear no man but God”
As I am swallowed by black clouds a demon I turn into, I can tell
And as the people I have hurt try to drag me from my knee into the depths of hell
Yet as there seems to be no hope gods golden clouds open within my sight
And the people I have helped and loved give me their hand to rid me of this fright
The precious smile of the females in my life bring my heart to a full
As the angels smile towards me and the door towards heaven, open, they pull
Suicide was the action I chose to see my woman, because in heaven we shall meet
And a loving song plays as Two Hearts share One Beat, as we unite with a loving greet

- Dedicate to all the woman that have helped raise me, and influence me to be the man I am today.
Our sacred memories will be engraved in my heart for as long as I live. Peace and cheers

This was dope. When I started reading, I expected it to be the same old boring shit, but it wasn't. It was a breezey read, and a "feel-good" piece. Good job.

this was a really good piece and i enjoyed the read.

The emotion was good throughout the piece...this made it tight.
Vocab and Wordplay was good throughout.
Flow was ok stretched i thought in some parts but they are ok.
rhymscheme was good i thought each line was nicely ended.
Overall this was an enjoyable piece that was a pleasure to read....there was no major problems so nothing to worry about....Well done.
