    EXPOSED: The Da Vinci Con!

    The Da Vinci Con!

The figure to Christ's right, is NOT one of Magdalene -
    But of John the Evangelist!
    His effeminate forms, sentiments borne...
...from Western conventions attempt to conjour the angelic!
There's no ponderous catalyst surrounding Christ's chosen heir ..
.. Reader's are only seeing what they`re being TOLD is there!
The over-bearing, woven hair and, feminine features that you're MEANT to see…
    …Are simply Leonardo -
Painting to the same conventions as his contempories.
There's no blistering find or mystery behind this exquisite design,
How could the man of led the Priory Of Sion…
…A group that didn’t exist at this time?
Had the Catholic Church wished to deny, Christian minds, Mary was His asserted patron,
And rid the Bible of any intercoursal scourging statements…
…surely they`d of DESTROYED all impinging images, rather than preserve the paintings!
The Church openly flirted Pagan symbolism,
    There’s no big ‘secret’ involved…
…as the Sheeple were told. It was merely proposed, to help with the Pagan people feeling at home.
The ‘Priory Of Sion’ theory alone is based on lies, and plagiarized ..
.. from pages of The Holy Blood And The Holy Grail you’ll find.
For all the purported research - The historical inaccuracies, are comical infact to me.

There's no ponderous catalyst surrounding Christ's chosen heir ..
.. Reader's are only seeing what they`re being TOLD is there!

What do these fresh-faced woman in these pictures have in common?

They’re both St. John The Evangelist.

    An Interesting piece.

I am a Christian so I guess that's what brought me hear.
    Hmm

    Nice take on the matter.

Not going to say much because in away I am tired
of the Da Vinci code being talked about.

But you did however manage to do a nice piece
here and express what you felt on the topic.
People complain about a good write is not about
flow scheme but you did do it nice with good content,
    meaning.

so overall nice appraoch to the topic.
stay writing you definitely got talent.

surely pointing out that something is irrelevent is even more irrelevent - lol

do you mean 'im a christian therefore i believe that god... a man with a beard... had NON sexual intercourse with a 14 year old girl (her supposed age at the time) who then gave birth to a half man/half god superhuman- with the ability to walk on water, and convert water - magically adding the relevent sugars for it to ferment - into wine... and your dismissal is offensive to me'

    lol, hope not

^I loved this part. Sometimes I think your lines are stretched, which makes it difficult to find your flow, but your imagery overshadows every flaw in your piece. Every single time. I really liked the way you approached this topic, espeically since I'm a Christian, so this had a favorable advantage to me. Anyway, I also felt that this was little too condensed. Simply meaning I wished you would've made it a bit longer because you touched lightly on some heavy topics throughout your verse (Priory of Sion, Holy Grail). I don't think people know the theory of Priory of Sion unless they go see the movie or read the novel, but I did enjoy this piece. You grasped it very well for what it was and the spin on John The Evangelist made it more interesting and relieving at the same time. Cool drop.

your lines are too stretched for my liking but you got pretty good imagery dude. it was a little to short for the topic too, felt like you coulda touched on alot more. the whole first half was fire though. nice drop my dude.

The lines actually ARENT stretched. Because of the internals and whatever else, the flow is still there. Regardless of the line lengths. And often, if im going to use a somewhat longer follow-up line, i'll simply use a shorter set-up. Maintaining the flow. I have to agree with Nique somewhat here though, I think MAYBE going for this topic in a league made up of early teenagers was the wrong move, and possibly what cost me the Championship this week. Regardless, I put a hell of a lot of effort into writing this, and Im glad you all appreciated it.

    Thanks! :^)

Ok I liked this.I do not think the lines were streched at all,I thought they were just right for the piece.People only say that because they have not read it properly.Your imagery was very impressive and vocab made it all the better read. One thing I would say that needed improvment on this piece is that you should have been more creative. You could of gone other places with this and made it a bit longer, because what you wrote was a very good read.I know you were going quality over quantity, but I still think it needed a bit more.I liked the topic that you have written on too.Nice read and keep it up
Heard about the guy who fell off a skyscraper?
On his way down past each floor,he kept saying to reassure himself
    So far so good.....
    So far so good.....
    So far so good.....

But how you fall doesn't matter
    Its how you land
