drop to the ground and thought that your heart.. was breaking
rain dripped on ya cheek and clouds fogged on your eyes
flash backs when you was a kid and you wanted to fly
child hood memory's with all the friends that you had seeked
always on the road with the visions that you seen and speeked
sometimes your heart breaks and you just want to die
the feeling inside you just make you have reasons to cry

Got an early morning phone call around eight o'clock
Little did I know 5 hours later my heart would drop
Uncle Jimmy called..he said your conditions got worse
Sittin here trying to control these tears,while i'm writting this verse.
Ten o' clock is the time we reached the ya bed room
You were there laying weak,didn't think you'd be gone soon
Sitting in the chair...............right beside your bed
So many thoughts.....running through my head
I look up at the clock.........It's now 12:54
Next thing I know, your doctor walks throught da door
I stare up a clock.....It's now 12:56
Had a feelin something was gon' happen i'm like ah shit
I look up at he doctor he's now holding your hand talkin all that doctor talk I don't understand
I look at the clock again, it's 12:59,I heard you, breathe didn't know that was ya lsat time
The doctor looked at you, and checked you pulse.....
The look on your face...told us you were ghost(gone)
I didn't know what to do..........I got up and left
Before I hit the door a tear fell from my eye, and i'm thinkin that ya death was a theft
All the 15 years of my life, I never thought I would see someone die
I say fuck it! and let the tears run down from my eye
People why...............you sit there and cry
Death is the reason I named and told you why

RIP Daddy Rick, I miss you.
I wrote the about the last 5 hours of his life. It could've been better, I hope yall like it. I know there are some stretched lines, sorry about that.

ok, i have read alot of open mics on this sites, i won't say this is one of the best but it is pretty good, i like the idea it was a pretty "heartfelt" piece i think it could have had more originality, it seems like all open mics recently has had something to do witrh a dying person....

....i liked the vocab you guyz may have used an unoriginal title but you made it your own you did a great job with your verses, i have to say that Miss Clitoria Cummings came more original than EternalDamnation but both were dope,

Congrats i really enjoy'd read'n this peice because when it comes to death i can relate to most i've been through some situations that i thought myself should've had happen but it did and most jus gotta understand that everything happens for a reason this peice had imagry and was very creative but even the worst presented piece can be the best no matta wat when it comes from the heart and its hard to write bout stuff like this but its best to get watcha gotta say off ya chest cuz depression is not wat anybody wants you both did a damn good job and just remember

yeah, most deff a heartfelt song with male and female talent on here, well i'm assuming EternalDamnation is a male, heh, but yeah i've felt alot of the feelings and before i go and get sentimental here, i'm digging the way this song flowed, i'd be cool if you two came together and made a song with it and had a cool chorus to go with it.
