My Ending (Re-vised)
It's beautiful...
The enigmatic elegence of this portrait above me.
These gorgeous brush strokes of this painting all around me.
Of the night skies enveloping all that is known to me everywhere I gaze upon.
But nothing beautiful lives forever...
The wonderous masterpiece of nature is "cleansed"
as the toxins of my opaque reality shatter and grind my dreams to pathaetic dust.
My peers opinions gnash and poke at my inner sanctum of gaurded thoughts.
Can I defend my poetic philosophies for much longer?
Or will the knives of my symbolic enemies clash through the barrier of my thinking chamber?
Can these wretched demons be so unmerciful as to burn my portrait of mind to ashes?
The voices inside my head wreck havok upon my soul and heart.
"Luke!" They yell at me through thier gritted teeth and evil eyes.
"You must give in to us! You must give up and dive into the barriers of depression!"
Should I ignore these voices?
Can I ignore these voices? Or is my intellect so weak to give up so early...
Do I continue to struggle on through life once again?...
Or is this my ending?...
