Broken Shadows

Just me against my black shadow
In the heated desert riding my saddle
My own shadow eating my insides
As the sun and days just stream by
Were nothing alike he doesn’t break a tear
The Shadow is never shaking in fear
My Shadow doesn’t sleep but he eats the grounds dust
Life isn’t important to him he doesn’t care about trust
Shadow wouldn’t even care if his leader died
Shadow would just move on thinking he tried
But maybe I beat the shadow to long lasting life
He was blown away like long stringed kites
But the shadow tought me something
To listen to nothing people said
The shadow lived in me now that he was dead
