u see since the last year my life's been a struggle
no parents, jus runnin the streets gettin into trouble
mom was always workin, dad was jus gone
i know this is startin off as jus another sad song
all i had was my friends, n they still here
now my daughters comin thats the only thing i fear
cuz her daddy hasnt got a break
n i know once shes born everyday my hearts gon ache
i dont want her growin up in agony
year after year, its jus phycological tragedy
but i wont let that intervene wit me being a proud father
havin that feelin of knowin my daugthers' gettin smarter
education is knowledge n knowledge is education
i jus cant wait til the day im standing happy at her graduation
patiently waiting for her walk the isle, n see her smile
i havent been happy in a while, n for her
shes the only women i wouldnt hesitate to walk a mile, four
or more, if i had this end happily then it would jus be folk-lore
one thing i know is that she will be healthly
imma make sure i bust my ass for her to live wealthly
even if its without me, hopefully not
hopefully i wont be put in that spot
or position where im constantly bitchin
for this lil gurl i have nothin but good intentions
imma teach her to defend herself so she can beat foo's up
imma also teach the jump shot so she can ball foo's up
imma make sure in my lesson to mention that all guys are dogs
they dont love u, they jus there for one cause
n thats to hit it n quit it
imma let her know that her daddy done did it
i jus wanna make sure that she knows her daddy loves her to death
n that imma always be there til the day of my death
