Shit was finished, the beef with Dre had ended
Now all he had to do was to escape without gettin a sentence
He heard sirens already, he ran through the alley and threw the gun
While fleeing from the narcs all he could do was think of his son
After a few hopped fences, a few blocks and a few main streets
He came to a dumpster and disposed of his heat
Took off his shirt and trashed that as well, paranoia kickin in though
But he overcame it, went to an abandoned house and climbed through the window
In the basement, everything was still, but the silence was so loud
He thought he had heard footsteps, but anyone to follow him, how?
Eased up the basement stairs, and pushed open the rusted door
Realized the streets are not safe anymore......

He heard gunshots as loud as they could be
He looked towards the commotion, and seen a body laying in the street
and another person running, he looked like just a kid fleeing
But he couldn't have been a murderer, he was only seven-.....maybe only eighteen
Rushed over to the bloody body, tryin to comfort the victim
There was no way he could be saved, not the way the bullets had hit him
Just then, sirens was crying out the killer's name
Police rushed to the scene, questioning all the witnesses that still remained
'Sir, do you have any idea what to occured?"
"Nah, but I seen someone running over thurr"
He responded, and his southern accent
A good ol` country boy, prime witness to a terrible accident
He didn't want to be involved, he was raised to mind his own business
But he also felt he must catch the person who did this
So many emotions after seeing someone die with such gore
He realized the streets are not safe anymore......

His body collapsed to the ground, after taking a few shots
Another so called gangsta on the street get popped
Although it was around that Dre was tryin to leave the game
He could never go back into the past and undo all his caused pain
But he tried, he confronted all his enemies, Bible in hand
To make peace with all the people's families he had slain
Approached a young man, that was full of anger inside
The young buck pulled out a gun before Dre could even say Hi
Let off 4 of `em, right into the changed man's chest
Bible fell to the ground, body fell into rest
That was the end of it, he had finally met with death
Now he knew how others felt when he took what all they had left
Their life, their soul, their love from their families and friends
The killer gets killed, but even there the vicious cycle doesnt end
Knowing he's already dead, he gave up, didn't want to live anymore
He closed his eyes, and realized. . . . . .
