Everybody raise a little praise to tha Holy One
But how much longer can we keep our focus on God's Son?
Like a firecraker many blew up and flew away
But like a California forest Imma burn everyday
How many will rise up and take the cross for a stroll
How many more will see the risk say "Peace! Let's roll!"
So many I have seen before who led a life so holy
But put them to the test and you can find a big phony
Like silver we will be refined if fire we can take
And when we pass the test all minor things we shall shake
And if haters wanna bust on us we just keep on movin
If temptation comes full force we know the Spirit is soothin
To the unfaithful flesh of a God-fearin heart
Please playas please let our God rule your art
He's givin such a gift to so many rhyme sayers
Now will you maintain the praise of your only Sin-Savior
Even if ten thousand should fall at my feet to the left
I will still follow Christ until released unto death
And if a thousand more turn on me and try to destroy
All that we have built I know that God's grace I'll enjoy
So take your cross and walk all the way for them souls
And don't look back just keep pressin for tha goal
