Fumbling throu the mournful ways of my brain’s hidden paths
I discover that not all hope is eternally lost
Finding more joyous memories to override the bad
But yet what I’m desperately searching for is still covered by hates frost
Throu entangled veins that pump my rich living blood
I flow throu my unknowns to where the source of my feelings lie
I can see my own pulsing beat that stays hidden by my skin
Yet it does not sing the melody or the tune that makes me feel so high
I can hear the music protruding from somewhere deep with in me
And I know I understand what it’s desperately trying to get out
But changing it into my human words is the problem that I’m having
For long ago I discovered what its message and emotion was really all about
Why is something so simple so hard to find within my own being
When it should come instantly but with you it’s another story to be told
I become lost in my own rhythm taken aside by my mixed thoughts
For it feels like when I begin to speak my heart has tuned stone cold
You use to be my comforter you use to calm down my jumpy nerves
But lately when I with you the hate I see reaches out and strangles me
For I can tell there’s no love for me left inside your burning corps
But since I can not chose my words I can not set myself free
