Now AmeriKKKa is all afraid and ready to engage in a coup
They need to go back to them roots Re-evaluate this whole situation
Realize this shit all began with their deviation"
From the paths of righteousness
400 yearz of blood crying out from the Earth
Can no longer be repressed
Now God is stepping into address these injustices
Cause justice is infinite
And baby, it’s Judgement Day
Instead of gearing up for acts of retaliation

Though the AmeriKKKAn revolution has been televised
This Real World revolution will go unrealized
Absorbed by the glassy cornea of eyes
Recorded for all posterity
While mothers reject birth control for hysterectomy
Instead of natural reproduction
We choose to alter genetic construction
Play God without discussion
The game be roulette—Russian
Because these are the days of our lives
No longer husbands and wives
But babies daddies and babies mommas
Providing us with real life dramas
The revolution will not be televised
But is now a reel of pre-recorded
Discorded
Media lies
One million American will not witness our cries
As we take to the streets in an up rise
The Amerikkkan flag will be gone up in smoke
Police officers choked
On the same end of the night stick
Covered with Louisa’s blood and shit
Forty-one shots will not be heard across the nation
On your local radio or news station
Cause the revolution will not be televised

But now a plot has devised

A continuous audio, visual assault on the senses
Degradation and violence relentless
The revolution will not be covered by Channel 4 or 7

As our youth struggle through a life of hell

Incarcerated for rebelling against the overrated theme
Of the fallacious American Dream
The FCC will monitor the airwaves of BET
After slaughtering Tavis Smiley
While from majestic mountaintops Jessica Care Moore shouts
The words that won’t fit her mouth
And the words of Reg E. Gaines ricocheting from plains
Will pound in our brains
Every time we buy out
Sell out
To fashion icons Nike and Tommy Hilfiger
Making sweaty bucks off showcase niggas

Yet the AmeriKKKan revolution has been televised
But the Real World revolution goes unrecognized
A governmental, press, and media conspiracy
With high officials and news personalities sworn to secrecy
There will be a COINTELPRO operation
A massive infiltration Into our minds and spirits Photocopies of studied Tupac lyrics
As they eavesdrop in chat rooms on Black Planet and Essence
Imposter poses at open mic sessions
Listening to these words Spoke, spoken In my broken dialect
But still yet able to reflect
The depth of my intellect
As I intercept
The 1,000 lies told to keep us in our place
With tears streaming down my face
For the folks who have lost their soul
I issue poetical decrees to make you whole
Destroying the matrix design
That keeps my people confined
In this deceitful dichotomy
Infusing minds with truth and clarity
Defying defamations of what was said we would never be
Revealing the brighter future you thought you would never see
My brothers and sisters the Revolution will not be televised
But the Real Revolution Will begin as an uprising of the mind
Seek the illusive and knowledge you will find
To reveal clairvoyant channels vividly

ayo BITCH as i have mentioned to u several times before and like F-i (bllllaat cap like a semi) just sed u can only have two threads on the front page at any one time ur lucky im not a mod or u would have long ago have posts closed or deleted, though i did read the poem and it is nothing like your previous works. I actually liked it i must admit i doubted your depth and knowledge of vocab but this piece was teeming with intelligent emotions though at some parts it seemed dry and or redundant the overall effect was good, one final thing is that the ending was flat and dead your didnt really capture the end but the rest was gortex steps away from the rest of your lukewarm pieces, congrats, 1luv.

Nice job, you poured emotion and heartfelt cries into that drop. Congradulations, you brought some heat on this, wow! I was impressed with the fact that it did not fizzle out, usually this type of drop kinds of dies out way too soon. You carried it all the way through, your intellegence was very noticable, and your flow was on point. I really liked the way you exposed our media, too many people fall into thier clutches... I did agree with some of your points and liked the whole peice but some of your references did not sit well with me. I hate to view our country as 'Amerikkka', I feel the few who do act as so, are the minority and this great country with it's problems is still my first chioce in the world. I would love to see a change, but I still give 120% of myself everyday to this country. Good job and keep them comming, just close out the older ones first....
