With all the success Eminem has been getting in film, there is one
movie that Eminem doesn't want you to see. The low-budget Da
Hip-Hop Witch, which stars the rapper, has been pulled from the
shelves because of a dispute about the cover. The movie, a
parody of The Blair Witch Project, originally came out in 2000 with
a basic cover. The movie was set to be re-released on June 17th
with a new cover capitializing on the current success of Eminem.
Artisan, the distributor of the movie has prohibited sale of the
movie and has ordered stores to return all copies of the film.

One year ago, five white kids from the suburbs entered the
projects in search of authentic hip hop culture. They were never
heard from again.... Reconstructed from "found" video footage
taken during their ill-fated journey, this video recounts the teens'
terrifying encounter with da Hip Hop Witch! This mockumentary
(starring some of hip hop's hottest acts) delivers a sharp parody
of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT while managing to touch upon
issues of cultural authenticity and ownership.
