Phalanx - simple and sweet, excellent flow and execution made a simple concept turn into an overall nice punchline. Good stuff
Slecht - a bit stretched and long winded here, I liked the concept and what you were going for and I think you could’ve won it if the wording were better. Close but phalanx got it

I’ve seen a few toothache bars before. Doesn’t mean this was bad by any means just didn’t feel fresh.
Slecht wasn’t as crisp as Phal but I liked the punch alil more.

I’ve seen both these types of flips before and think you both could’ve got a LITTLE more creative with it honestly, but Phal’s read the smoothest and had the biggest impact for me. I don’t get this whole spoon feeding the readers by quoting the metaphor style and never really have haha…but really I just felt the toothache thing more than the keep it a buck thing, and phal’s wording was just smoother.

It was long as fuck but the bar was better. It was more of a longbar style which I don't mind. Both flips have probably been done before but comes down to preference I guess.

Thought both were decent, good stuff.
Phalanx was straight to the point & had a good concept.
With Slecht I think it's a bit of a push calling that 2 bars but I did like bits of the scheme, "keeping it a buck" was cool. If the 'suspended on the wall' had a double meaning I may have gone with Slecht. Please correct me if I'm wrong thinking it doesn't.

the bar waas a little long, the first line could have cut a lot of shit out since this is a punch battle, I like suspended on the wall like a taxidermist though.
overall I got sleight edging it with a better punch, I liked suspending on the wall like a taxidermist beter than holding their jaws.
