Intro
Hey everybody! Since @Ronin disappeared and @Kill Spree could clearly use some assistance I'm gonna take over this league. There will me mags every week, u know, all the usual good stuff. This past week wasn't bad, every battle got a solid number of votes from competing members of the LLL and some of the non competing regular RB members. Votes are the lifeblood of the league, so thats good to see and hopefully it will keep up. We're gonna have the first contenders matches this week, so things are getting serious. Text is still alive bros, but Mac Miller is not, enjoy the mag.

Meth vs. Blue Bayou
I thought this was a pretty good battle, altho I am slightly biased. We went 18 lines and we were both pretty consistent. A lot of standouts were picked from both of our verses by the voters. I got the first vote, before Blue swept the rest of them. His concepts were mostly fresh, and even his flips were creative and well executed (like the methadoner line). My verse was enjoyed too, but it wasn't good enough to get past Bayou. It definitely wasn't a legendary battle or anything, but was probably the battle of the week. Good shit, Blue.
Ryno vs. Authentic
Before the week started, this was probably one of the battles I was most looking forward to reading, as it put two similar skill levels to face off. Both have some creative concepts with lackluster finishing and execution at times. Andddd both showed the lack luster more then the creativity here. it was a bit of let down. No one was feeling much from either, but Ryno was able to get the edge from almost everyone on account of his better attempts and wording.
Allen Knight vs. Mr W.rite
Soooooo Mr write is apparently NOT Storyteller. However, his verse begged to differ this week lol. A lot of fillery old concepts. his best bar was an AK bar... So yeah. He'll have to realllllly pick it up if he wants to contend with anybody in this league tbh. It's nice to see Allen still around dropping heat like that tho. FIFA 19 was crazy, and the rest of his verse didn't lack at all. I think he had the verse of the week.
Cheesecake Assassin vs. High and Drunk
Dia's verse was good for Dia standards. And High posted in Long Bar, which not only hurt him stylisticly, but made him have 2 less punches then Dia. some of his ideas were good tho, like gram cracker and california wildfires, but his wording due to it being long bar was not only long winder but corny. U know how to write a punch mostly, so if u assimilate to short bar u will get a lot more love here. Dia been making some progress. cut throat and eating pussy bars were good enough to get him by here. but he needs to be careful. he has a tendency to lack wit and post statements.
Hush and Barcotic won by no show. Hush keyed something up, and Bar posted a ns verse.

Week 4 of LLL Includes Influx of Talent
Last week was a big boost talent wise as we saw guys like Hush and Allen Knight signing in, and this weeks no different as we get former Season champion @King signing in, and Summer Classic winner @knucklehead. also has agreed to a battle in the LLL, how long he plans on battling here is however unknown at the time. Bomb Bard signed back in as and other known names like John Dillinger and Joe Boston did so as well. The competition is only heating up from here.

5. Ryno
Ryno has a contenders match this week thanks to his 2-1 record but he will have to be a lot better then last week if he wants to compete in the first title match of the season
4. Hush
At 1-0 and a legendary status, he can sit comfortably at 4 even tho his verse that he posted for plethora wasn't exactly indicative of his abilities
3. Allen Knight
Allen dropped heat out the gate in his first battle of the season, and due to the low number of quality records in the league as of week 4, he earned himself a contenders match with it.
2. Barcotic
The only thing separating Bar and Blue right now is that Bar was no showed against and didn't have to write a verse this week. Thats why hes at 2 and not at 1.

Contenders Barcotic 3-0 vs. Allen Knight 1-0
This should be a really dope battle. I'm assuming these 2 have battled before tho I dont remember it. There's plenty of personals for both, not that either need any extra punching power. I've only read Allen once since I've been back but almost his whole verse was pretty good. Bar's dropped quality as of late too. We got 2 NC HoF's here on RB to battle it out, and it's a toss up. Bar should stay away from the obscure wp this week, I think it takes away from his verse sometimes. This is my pick for battle of the week. 50/50
Contenders Bayou 3-0 vs. Ryno 2-1
Bayou has been on a roll, taking out anybody that stands in his was since the season began, and his challenge this week probably won't be enough to stop that roll. Ryno is a quality writer with quality ideas, and tho some people seem to think he's an alias which could be true, he still has real flaws in his execution and wording of some of his bars. Hopefully he picks it up to a whole new level here, but Blue's fresh ideas with superior wording should be enough to win this one easily. Blue Bayou 80/20
Dia 1-2 vs. Plethora 0-1
Altho Dia has improved as of late, he still isn't a threat to really challenge any of the higher skilled participants in the league. Plethora happens to be included on that list, and is possibly another alias. Tho it when it comes down to it we vote on bars not names and plethora has the better bars of the 2. His verse against Hush altho late wasn't bad, and he could have won had it gone to votes. He should take this one here in an easy one. Plethora 80/20
Meth 1-1 vs. Hush 1-0
Surprisingly me and Vic have never battled in the 7+ years we've been boarding together, and I look forward to this one after a loss for me last week to Blue. Hush has some of the best gun bars in text right now, and he knows whats been used and what hasn't so his tendency to come played is super low, which is something that I can struggle with at times. With wording being my strong suit, and something that he probably has me beat in too, Ill really have to step up my game here. Good luck, brother. Hush 60/40
JEM. 0-2 vs. Knucklehead 0-0
So JEM aka Boston (but not Joe Boston) knows what he's doing as far as bringing wit to your punches, what he doesn't know is how to word them effectively or whats played against who and what isnt. Against guys who have a lot of battles like Knuck, its imperative to not waste a bar on super old nameplay, because u will have to come as consistent as possible to beat the top heads. Knuck knows what hes doing, and is really good at wording his punches for maximum damage dealt. he should take this one pretty handedly. Knuck 80/20
Mr W.Rite 0-1 vs. Authentic 0-1
Authentic didnt really do himself any justice with his drop last week. it just wasnt good, and ive seen him drop way better then that multiple times. ive enjoyed reading his verses lately so i hope he drops what hed been doing before. Mr write didnt come with anything witty or creative last week against Allen and hell really have to improve if he wants to get wins. I got authentic here, 70/30
High And Drunk 0-1 vs. Joe Boston 0-0 vs. Bomb Bard 1-1
Everybody loves three ways right!?!? Yeah, me either. Its an unfortunate necessity this week, as well have Joe vs H&D, vs Bomb Bard here. Bomb and Joe both have a lot of wins, and a lot of accomplishments over the years here at RB, while H&D is clearly a long bar head from another site somewhere, which is fine, at least he knows how to formulate a punch, albeit in a format that most people here will scoff at. Spree has the best concepts of the 3, and as long as he doesnt butcher them hes the clear favorite in this one, Joes not bad but he struggles with wording just like Bomb Bard does, and his concepts and flips cant carry him thru like Bards can. H&D just needs to use way less words to get his points across. I got Bomb Bard here, 65/25/10 (Bomb, Joe, H&D)
J. Dill 0-0 vs. King 0-0
The return of King to the LLL. Welcome back brodie. Facing him is J. Dill, who is no stranger to these text battle things. King may be rusty, (if thats what u call it) but he is a season champ for a reason, and one of the better known heads over here at rapbattles. His bars are smooth, and when hes been around he comes with Fresh ideas. Tho with him being gone awhile, he could possibly drop some used stuff. I like Dill as well, but he can come with some light execution on pretty good ideas which hinders him at times. This has potential to be a really good read, but King should take it 65/35
