they stay where ever they are now record doesn't effect those. you will still have your old record only thing that changes is the one under your name that will be your new record, with your old record underneath in a collapsible section, or completely moved entirely to your profile section and if people want to see your old record they look at your profile.

well a better analogy is, you don't see the NFL rewarding the cowboys with playoff options, because they won the superbowl decades ago, the statistics isn't like a hall of fame, it's more like a record/stats, NFL would only keep stats for the current season and same with other sports, those stats that would be in their record books are their archive stats, not their current playing stats, a hall of famer wouldn't have stats listed on the current playing stats, micheal jordan isn't the top basketball player right now when it comes to current stats, if the NBA did stats like RB, you still have micheal jordan up there and shit as the current stats, so basically we would have the archived/hall of fame stats, and the record that is shown is the current playing stats.
