Entertaining battle. Both attempted nameplays on each other that were played, but other than that they were at their best when laying into each other with personaos and creative angles. This ended up being as close as I wanted it to be. I was looking forward to this battle and it didn't disappoint.

overall

both had some cool shit, smog had the starry night and the motor skills. art had the first two couplets. both were considerably even. however, smog attempted to be more creative. i found his concepts to be more risky and less safe - in their creativity and in their execution. it comes down to style preference & i have always favored creativity above all. if we are weighing both guys' best bars again each other - then i think smog edges it out. the way art's verse ended may have swung it the other way. overall, i think smog edged it out
