The pigeon morphs into a Phoenix,
Pontius Pilate is pardoned by Jesus
Ashes return like monarch butterflies
To a cigarette growing from Pinocchio's lies
Glowing momentarily, turning to truth
Addicts and criminals become innocent
Righting wrongs for crimes done by the heaven-sent
All regrets go back in time, realign
Into a determined mind inspired, an intelligent design
Becomes chaos against the backdrop
Of a man in an ivory tower, the lost
Become found as birds hit the ground
And all the power of godless men vanishes
Into the hands of a God that never banishes,
A tree shrinks into a seed amongst seeds planted by a farmer who still believes
In the heavens and earth
In death and rebirth.
