    Vote: ill

Truth's story was more predictable vs. ill's, and that alone is what decided my vote. I thought ill took the mundane and predictable routes that the topic insinuates and gave it a decent twist. both had some good mechanics and lines but the originality of the story was my main concern for this battle. it was a good battle overall tho.

I thought ill had a very enjoyable verse. It made for a clean read, with exceptional imagery and structure. I felt compelled to finish the story and eagerly anticipated each bar. Truth was outmatched in his storytelling. His approach was nuanced with a writing style that felt more appropriate in a swag and flow setting. He wasn't bad, his verse just wasn't suitable to contend with ill's.

    v-ill
