    Hold my hand, and say
    'This’ll make you better’
Am I looking at you now?
    ...that the needle lays deep

    Regret, pours
    out of my veins
    Dripping placid patterns
    Reminding me of you

    I’m…

Tying tied tears to my dreams

    Oh

    The Universe sang
When I went white and cold
Empathy surrendered a breath, at dawn
she said... ‘Hate hasn’t glanced her, in eons’
Words turned to ash, and crumbled in her breeze

    My chameleon Cosmos
    Fall on me

I'm not prepared, to save a weary soul
Nor to ask a question of the Sky…
“Where have we learnt to live?”
    Love is not the same
    Now I embrace a knife

    On this somber Sunday morning
Faith remains, the colour of your eyes
    Serenading peace
With a zephyr in the air
    And you, in my heart
    Higher and higher
    We rise

    R.I.P

    Forgive me

i feel like this was a play on the needle in a haystack idiom. Like its a struggle to perceive or engage.

    Regret, pours

"placid pattern" the elegance and eloquence of that phrase.

    he Universe sang
When I went white and cold
Empathy surrendered, a breath, at dawn
she said... ‘Hate hasn’t glanced her, in eons’

i take it as her dying. The description was vividly disturbing. The universe sang - i'm not sure if u meant for it to be of a harmonious nature but i hear a violent crashing sound. And i don't know why lol. awesome stanza.

so the obvious theme here is death. But I see this whole transaction as some kind of emotional entropy as oppose to death. The character falling into a chaotic state. With that interpretation, i was able to attached more tangible emotional/psychological dimension to the narrative. In other words, the characters mental and emotional collapse made more sense under that model. this line here made me take that route:

    Love is not the same
entropy, in my estimation means a lack of order, or rather, moving towards a lack of order. the statement quoted ran parallel to "lack of order" (IMO) as "same", in this context, i take as to mean that comfort of the familiar; norm: order.

But then the last part, with all the calm placid emphasis kind of made me rethink my assessment and made me take a u-turn towards death again. Whatever the case is, this piece is a well written piece that gets better with every reread.
