Let me paint the picture
After a long night, I left the county jail where my job resides and embarked on my 50 minute commute back home. Feeling a bit hungry and in need of hydration, i stopped at a nearby Jiffy Mart to greet Hammed and grab myself a Monster Energy Zero Ultra and a small cup of boiled peanuts to put down along the way. After paying the man, i jumped back in my ride and proceeded toward the second leg of my trip. Flash forward about 37 minutes later and I am now nearing a strip of road that cuts through the center of my sub division, Brickell Ave. As my eyes wander as far as my vision will possibly allow, I focus on the only street light that sits roughly 3/4's the length of this road. Getting brighter and brighter with each passing yard. Just as I am ready to put that light in my rear view and make the final turn toward my residence, I instantly feel a jolt under the drivers side wheels of my car.

As I do a quick rear view check I see what appears to be a rural beast of some sort flipping in a cartwheel like fashion until it comes to a sudden rest just at the shoulder of the road. I reverse my vehicle and jump out. I assess the area around me to make sure that its mother or angry siblings are no where in sight before attempting to make direct contact with this mysterious furry creature of the night. As i inch closer to inspect its injuries all i can see is two eyes, almost demonic in nature. Not demonic because I in fact ran over a demonic being, but because the light from the street lamp reflected upon its eyes in such a horrific result. As i get even closer, i realize . . . FUCK!!!! Its a cat.
This cat stares me in my eyes. . almost as if it was burning its last dying thoughts into my own.
"Hey, you fucking hit me you asshole" Is the only thing I could imagine it would be saying at this point. In that second, I wondered, was this just a stray? Was this the mother cat of a litter of bastards now left to fend for themselves? Was this the pet of what will soon be a heart broken child? Or perhaps the companion of an Elderly person who has no other family or friend to keep them company in their most lonely of hours? I gulp down the guilt, and face the realization that I will now be known among the feline community in my neighbor hood as a savage murderer of cats. In that moment, the cat made one last attempt to flee from its imminent death. Unable to muster the strength to will its hind legs into motion, it snapped its head back and took in a huge breath of air before finally succumbing to his failed battle with my Hyundai Genesis coupe.
In a state of sadness over the untimely death of earths beautiful but no so intelligent creature, i head back to my vehicle to grab a flash light to see if i can recover any identifying tags on the lifeless creature. As i inspected the front bumper of my car, i noticed some blood smudged and clumps of cat hair WEDGED INSIDE THE CRACKS OF THE FUCKING BUMPER THAT I SPENT ALL FUCKING DAY BEFORE WASHING AND WAXING!!!!!!! UGHHHHHH. . . . ((((FUCK THAT CAT)))))
