the theory of cause and effect is flawed,
we expect the outcome to mirror the struggle, that's wrong.

    Re: Weekly Challenge: Week 5

Look, I'm a torn book. I hate it.
Full of content and pages of amazement
Glazed with insane lines defined with ungraded phrases
May feel degraded or inflated, perceptions options
Blessed with topics topped with filler for the subconscious
Consciously confusing the truths, we see as obnoxious
The foot of a loch ness, the tail of the whale
Fact or fiction, you’ll be left on a boat in a forest going through hell
Every chapter is laughter where decisions are tested
at the end of the lesson, a shambled life is what you’re left with
Realizing we’re destined for greatness, scrolls of souls
after much fight in plight, we’re merely a face on a totem poll
From old to mold, we’re a character in the scheme of the things
Nightmares leaving us in silence should be the reason we scream for dreams
Creative teams of authors and a thought forces brains to come alive
If books are where you hide the truth, everything else must be built on lies…

A diatribe from normal diction, infliction is pensioned
Cashing on the chasm fathoming the claimed aforementioned
I can visually see the fiction's friction in spectacular glee
Weaving multi-syllable phrases in vernacular sprees
Simplistic like the trees it's communicated from
Spawning jawns birthing landscapes, an annotated alum
Every word remembered is a dance step of vibrancy
    Becoming frightfully my privatized dynasty
Finding me between the vermilion and crimsons
A million missions reinventing vocabulary's piston
So I tear remnants drastically, haphazardly
Embedded in my mental capacity, it's now an allergy
My veracity forges a wall, "No one shall master"
Forecasting an alabaster of banter and laughter
And I love it when you tell me you looked up my jargon
Finding that landscape where images don't come at a bargain.......

    Write or die . . . fighting confiding in Silence . . .
    Eyes sore cry . . . vicariously hiding, colliding vibrance . . .
I find it . . . best voiced through violence.

A suit or tie - don't shoot your eye, the suture's tied,
but your shoe's untied; the stupor's died and I'm a stupid guy,
but you're the loser type lusting over future hype.
Yet the loser's right: winners left withering from loser's fright,
choosers might relinquish a harness that's harmless,
amidst the abyss marching arm in arm with an armistice.

Nietzsche warned us not to gaze upon the absence of facts and
be careful to attack factions of masked men, laughing mad men
lest ye become a monster - once a beacon of honor, now a breathing
heathen prima donna caught between the scenes of fonder meaning
pondering yonder beings wandering upon psalms of reading, believing
in a freeing feeling, fleeting, the fill-in villain reeling, seeing defeat firsthand.
    pop goes the weasel

    Re: Weekly Challenge: Week 5

August 2nd 1993 I begin the time on my lease
This new body of pages bound on a leash
Made up of fees now crowned upon me
But printed on trees planted by a…. she and a he?

The first words are not mine to be written
Given, my elders make the spine I’m fittin’
Until I’m old enough to be shifting
Spinning, weaving the tales I’ll be living

I sail upon seas of rented time
A universal library shelving the signs,
Zodiac; Leo I am, lion of pride
Shinin’ bright with the fires inside

    Roaring the vibrant tune
Till I die in a silent room
Bent spine on the dusty shelf
Pages breaking, ink fading; roll the credits to myself
“Those whom life does not cure death will. The world is quite ruthless in selecting between the dream and the reality, even where we will not. Between the wish and the thing the world lies waiting.”
