    Bench day for me...

    277 sets of 6 with the Duffalo bar (has an increased range of motion so you can't lift as heavy).

    Then some Spoto press with around 227 I think. If you don't know what a Spoto press is, google it. Great bench variation.

    Do you think working out twice a day is a good idea?

    today, back day.
    5x5 285 deadlifts
    4x10 180 bent over barbell rows
    drop-set 150, 140,130 wide grip pulldowns
    3x10 70 bent over alternative dumbell rows

    Jesus, we got some fucking monsters in this thread if u can all really lift that much. Just got back into deadlifting, I got 275x6 today but the weight started slipping and shit, barely got the 6th rep was holding the weight with my fingertips on that last one. Do u guys use chalk? for deads...

    ^^i think it might've been you, dude, but somebody gave me a regiment to work off of and it definitely upped my strength. Even though i'm at a plateau right now, it still helped a lot. I was using wrist straps for a while then my forearm got stronger and started lifting it raw.

    Generally, I would never lift heavy twice in a day. Its too taxing on the nervous system.

    I use chalk on super heavy sets.

    Also, how is your grip? Are you using a double overhand or alternating?

    I did the alternating. I feel like I can do more reps just my grip slips. Maybe I have weak grip strength or something. Also I was around this strength level 10 years ago when I was a teenager with raging testosterone levels. I know my test is probably lower now but as a grown man I should be able to lift more, no? I was also 20 lbs lighter as a teen. Guess all the beer and drugs are getting to me

    Or use straps. Unless you are training for a powerlifting meet, your grip strength should not be a limiting factor in your training.

    I also will use straps if my grip gets to the point where it starts to go (happens now and then depending on the volume that day)

    Just finished deadlift day....

    300lbs x15 (1 rep every 30 seconds)
    300x8 pause below the knee (1 rep every 30 seconds)
    300x8 pause above the knee (1 rep every 30 seconds)

    Chest day/cardio day

    incline bench 235 5x3-5 about 3-5 mins rest period
    flat bench 235 3x10 3-5 mins rest period
    decline 265 3x10
    fly drop set 15,12,10,8

    30 min HIIT cardio

    feel good ha.

    mentally prepping for leg day tomorrow.
