Trust... I've MOD'd PLENTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY of leagues, events and ADMIN'd sites for that matter where I did all of the above.

A mod CAN NOT HOLD a strict deadline if he can not make his. End of story and not going to argue w/ you about it. It's a fact. Some leeway must be given if the MOD himself can't remain as deadline orientated.
