Ok, I've been watching and studying long enough; Gonna at least try to start from the bottom and climb my way up calling out EVERYONE active on this site; probably 1 weekly.

In the real world, a 16-bar verse is a 16-lines... So as @Letterman defended me - a 24-bar battle would be a 24-line verse a 24-line verse = 48 lines. And I'm pretty sure me putting "24-lines" in the Call Out title, was clear enough.

And as a side note, If it's DOPE, I'll personally read any amount lines... I hope we all aren't that lazy here. No diss, but that could be a factor why it's so dead, just saying.

I know what a bar is, it's roughly 45 seconds. Two snares, however you want to look at it.

However you have to adapt to where you are, and you're wanting to text battle on an internet forum, and to make it easy on everyone the generally accepted rule of thumb is that a bar=2 lines.

Even in the "real world" a bar isn't automatically 1 line either.

I've seen so many different opinions on if 1 bar = 2 lines or if 1 bar = 1 line.

Bar (music) : In musical notation, a bar (or measure) is a segment of time defined by a given number of beats, each of which are assigned a particular note value. Dividing music into bars provides regular reference points to pinpoint locations within a piece of music.

I say we take bar out of the equation and just say lines from now on to stop confusion.

And you're not wrong in saying bar. But the term has had so much controversy that I don't think I set definition (within rap boards anyway) wiill ever be agreed upon.
