hmmm this is actually a tough one, both had decent concepts here but off wording. Problem with the 3 line style is that people tend to use it to mask stretching some where and so it gives the illusion that your shit is still on point which is why I loved using it in FL when battling newbs.Fouls newsletter was a good concept but the way he ended it was terrible, the entire bar was also too wordy and lengthy for no reason, could chop it down and it would be a dope hit. Lettermans is a simple played concept but a good flip on the thought. His use of the 3 lines style was off here, his 1st and 2nd line were far too short and his 3 line was far too long so it threw the flow off when you read it. When breaking it down, lettermans bar just seemed too plain and more of a last minute bar that you have laying around some where for just in case moments.

More of a direct shot, which outweighs random punches that can be dropped at anyone, any day, IMO. Plus, I've seen that concept dropped before, which I believe Smog, had something closely related to that, with the whole spare change/collecting change bullshit.

He came with a more direct punch with a nicer flip. Letterman dropped a very weak punch thats wicked played that ive seen done in so many different ways.

Not a bad punch, very straight to the point. Although I enjoyed it, I found it to be rather predictable as I've seen these name plays used on letterman often.Originally Posted by Foul
Also, a very decent punch. This one also felt a little predictable just based on the set up, but I enjoyed the comical factor of it.Originally Posted by Letterman
Overall, I enjoyed this matchup although neither punch was a haymaker. Foul had a punch that I feel has been used a million times which takes away from the zing of the personal. Letterman got me on the comical factor regardless of the punch being indirect in terms of personalization. Without saying, I have seen a significant progression in Foul and look forward to seeing more. All in all, I have to give this to letterman just based on what I stated above.
