Welcome to WEEK 3 you ugly, nerdy, days-of-our-lives watching faggots. CHAMP MATCH WILL GO DOWN WEEK 6. Contenders matches will go up week 5, and the contenders will be picked by records, and strength of wins if theres any ties. A lot of it is going to come down to my own judgement, don't get pissed if you aren't in the first contenders matches, I promise you'll get a shot if you deserve it.



Also, WHEN YOU LOSE A CHAMP MATCH YOU CAN'T GET INTO A CONTENDERS MATCH FOR 2 WEEKS. So you lose week 7 in a champ match, the earliest you can get into another contenders match is week 10. We can't have the same dudes battling 3 or 4 times like last season, that shit is crazy. So if you get there, write like you might not get back. Cuz you might not.

Lastly, I'm not doing previews anymore. I'll do a section with my picks if you want, but I'm going to focus more on reviews since theres more to cover.

Do you think you will be a serious threat this season?


IDK, tbh. Some days I feel like writing and come up with some decent stuff, others I can't think for shit, lol. If I push myself, I can drop some fire but haven't really put forth a decent amount of effort in any verse so far, lol. I can honestly say, the last verse I probably put effort in to, was my Pic battle with Salamander. I was motivated because I wanted to dismantle him, and I did LOL.


I see you in chats trolling as much as, if not more than, TGF...whats the deal? you just like getting people all flustered n shit? lol


Definitely not more, lol but yea... Kills time while I'm in the office. Plus, I'm from New York, and all we do is talk shit really. It's sort of like a shit talking competition. NY peoples are mad competitive, HA.


Other than yourself, who do you think has a real chance at being the last man standing for season 17?


A few potentials signed out. Hopefully they'll sign back in some time soon (Sal & Hush) but other then them, GoW, Orc, Allen, Alpha, Wordz, rest are ok, IMO. Oh yea, forgot about the Lizard beater aka Aardvark aka Galactic. He's got some bars... You see that nigga's nose, tho? My nigga... They filmed the movie Cliff Hanger in his nostrils. Did you use a style like the cats here do before coming to RB or did you have to adjust from something else? like longbar or something.


Did long bar most of my time on rap forums. Only time I did short bar was when I recorded but transitioned to short when I joined RB.


Ever done anything other than text battling? Live or audio?


Both. I dropped my soundclick in the chat last season. Might start Live Battling once I find some motivation to actually put forth a good amount of effort.


Name some accomps from your past sites? Ever champ anything elsewhere?


Champed a bunch of leagues & tourneys an shit as well as made HOF on Goldmic, Lyrical Threats, BBE. Was also on RM back in the days, Metaphorical Siccness, Death Spits, HHH, HHC, IMVU and so on and so forth... Took time off of forums in like 2010 till recently.


And finally, what exactly did you do to get TGF to like you so much?


Ever since he saw my picture, he's been on the shaft. It's cute, tho. His reverse psychology to keep the focus off of his homosexuality is entertaining, tbh.

Dia vs Go Rilla

Dia surprised me here and dropped some cool shit. Go Rilla had some decent bars, just needs to work on some better wording to get his concepts to hit harder.

Good battle. It even had a little controversy when Alpha dropped some bars claiming to have ghosted shit for Amen in the past. Sounded like there may be a little truth to it, maybe not exactly how he depicted it, but voters thought Alpha took this one with some harder hits.

Lawd no showed. Dark dropped a pretty decent verse that I think had a very good chance at getting the W anyway.

Orc didn't show. Idk if KnowP would have taken this one if Orc showed, he had an ok verse but I don't feel like it would have been enough. Oh well, guess we'll never know.

Nukedogg vs Senator vs Wordz AhGod

Senator No Show'd. So that's gay as fuck. Wordz came through with a pretty consistent verse, enough to get the win. Nuke had some cool shit just wasn't steady enough to steal the win. The Feeble Minded flip was dope though, props homie.

Allen Knight vs Kontext

Kon had some cool ideas, i think voters just weren't feeling his wording on some. I liked the China men flip though. Allen came with his usual approach of wordplay and nameplay attacks and managed to be a little more consistent than Kon was, which got him the dub.

Oh man, fucking heartbreaker here. Smog lost this shit by one vote. Believe me homie, everyone here knows how much that sucks. Except maybe Wordz, he typically just gets KOd when he loses. But yea, cool battle, extremely close. In the end Blanco edged it out on my vote.

Last weeks beef match. Both showed on time this week, and we actually had ourselves a battle. Which is dope because if either dude no showed this one they were getting the fucking wrath. Anyway, Max showed up and took care of business this time around with ended up being a more one sided match.

Hush vs Foul Monopoly

Ok battle, kind of one sided. Foul had the concepts to compete, but not the execution. He's gotta find a more effective way to deliver his shit to make it to the level where he's competing with Hush and the like. Hush had a few bars land well, including a strike a chord flip that landed which is just like...wow...at this stage of the game lol.

LLS vs God of War

Another ok battle that was a little one sided. LLS fell for the nameplay trap and tried dropping 3 nameplay bars on gow, which hard to get away with in a 10 line verse. they gotta hit pretty god damn hard, especially since they've all been done on him. Gow was pretty consistent with his verse, no real haymakers but just solid hit after solid hit.

And finally we come to Sal vs Gal. So this is how this went down...Sal came in talking all kinds of shit like "i'm the champ fuck all deez noobs", and Gal was all like "exsqueeze me bitch"...and then Gal proceeded to violently facefuck Sals verse until there was nothing left of it. It was difficult to watch really.

Definitely a worthy BOTW. This was a pic battle that was pretty fucking dope. Both had some hilarious shit, but in the end SiK took it with more consistency. So are you truly a noob to the league or have u been in before under a different name?

I am a Noob to RB, yea...but I go by Tic Tac on RR and Netcees. I'm also Clubs over on Lyrical Assault but I'm not a fan of that site. It's primarily Noobs on there, tbh. Couple decent heads though.


Have you ever done any live battling?

Nah, never but I've watched some of the KOTD / AHAT battles and it's pretty interesting and seems like a lot of fun. Not for the faint of heart, though.

Would you do anything other than text? Like audio battles or video battles....
I'm considering doing both audio/video battles. I've seen some dudes like Miracle doing it and it looks like something I could get into. I feel like text takes up a decent amount of time though, depending on how many battles I have on different sites. So tbh, not sure if I will ever actually get to it. It has potential though.


What are your first impressions of this season?

I like the weekly battling, it brings activity to the site and keeps it interesting. Voting could be broken down a bit better. Would like to see some of the Vets vote more, perhaps even those not in the League. So far so good though, not too many no shows as of yet. I think it's going to turn out nicely.

You got a big win over Salamander, who was the defending champ, what are ur thoughts on how that went down?

Lol. I came in here knowing I'd have to answer this question. I mean, I think I dropped a pretty decent verse and apparently so did the voters. I don't think Sal dropped a bad verse in the least, but I've seen him come MUCH harder than that in other battles. I think he underestimated me in this instance and it came back to bite him.

Do you think he overreacted to the voting?

Tbh, I do. I have nothing against Sally and think he is a dope writer, but in this regard I think he went over the top. He admittedly said he "didn't put much effort into the verse" and then acted out against the voters. That just doesn't make sense to me. You can't half ass a verse expecting a win then later complain about the voting or getting "Robbed." That's something I'd expect from Amen, not Sally. Lmaoo fuckin w/ you my dude.

Who do you think will make it to the first champ match in a couple weeks?

Good question. If Sal comes back I think he is definitely one of the top Contenders for the Title. If not, I'd have to say Allen/Alpha/Packed are all top Contenders, IMO.

Ummm, i'll say WORDING. its Harder 2 write 4 text IMO. too Many Variable. You can Win a Live battle with Effective Agression Alone some. Aggressive text Bars are like whaaaat? who cares
