This does not necessarily reflect my personal views. The idea behind this verse was to be about what many people have said...and not necessarily people I personally know... regarding various issues and stands
more as food for thought then anything else. Perhaps it will initatiate others to write a verse actually expressing their views....perhaps it will do nothing. It is not intended to influence anyone in one particular direction or another...
But to allow you to think and formulate opinion on your own accord.

The voice of many:
Build it up, cut the budget til the people left with nothing
Conceal and bluff, misdirection in every field you touching
Amend it up, change the rules and chain the fools to your cruelness
Set the rules and bend em to your whim and pull your damn bullshit
Send the citizens to prison, cover up the mission claim
with the grand word "correction" under the lame official name
This department is the darkest, dreary, part of their control
It's just there for show, it fails to help or repell felon flow
Start a war, depart from fort, and pick a target course
Bombard with force and televise the tarnished source
Harness hordes of soldiers for your dirty work with no remorse
Pen a plan to force the poor to purchase your insurance pack
Punish a bunch of nuns and law abiding Christian kats
Promise change, look honest, gain the longest reign as leader
You'll leave the office, profit in your pocket, us just ethered
We grow weaker, economy plunging deeper into desperation
Some have begun evacuation, some are trapped to face it
Some believe disasters waiting, some say we'll bounce to safety
One things for sure, some things are blurred just as of lately
It's just what I've heard, but it don't reflect none of my views
This is pure food for thought, don't shoot the messenger dude

this some real shit, i like this drop. you showed an ability to incorporate substance with an entertaining flow. you have very good use of vocabulary, and you made some very valid points as far as politics which is not easy when rapping with multi syllable rhymes. idk how most will feel about what seems to partially diss Obama but i think you have good arguments. this was a good drop man, could stir up some controversy..

whoa! even though you say it doesn't reflect any personal views, I know people who would completely agree this is how they see their own country. deep points of contrast and good elements of emotional appeal. didn't really need to get metaphorical in this piece cause it was more of a heart felt illustration of the political realm of society. pretty good flow. broken at times near the middle. not sure if the last line was invite of discussion or part of the bar count. either way, I wasn't a fan of that line. overall man, this was a good read/ eye opener on some real life point of view. good drop.
