in retrospect, she sauntered forth-
yet never said the thoughts she formed would be
dropped in war. just left for dead... she taught the storm
it's darkened chorus, and every step- from what seemed to me,
a dream of peace, was falling towards the farthest shores...
so what does betrayal mean to you? does it create an ease of use?
it's more of the bitter in-between. the winter season peak-
the visiting disbelief that creeps between your deepest views,
it's grinning in defeat- someone you never thought you'd be.
getting lost at sea, and believing in grim possibilities.
it's more than that. more intact. dagger without the cloak,
the asinine assumptions that glassed around the boat,
the icecapades that cracked in the wake of any time of day
you lied or laughed away to sice a smoke. drink or convo.
my demeanor's warm and cheery. i'll die alone. sink, Apollo.
your morals suck. drink a bottle and find that no brink can follow
the sort of eerie thinking hollow i've filled with love, built to rust,
and quilted up in- cause i'm filled with what i'd never up and give.
a lecture in getting dumb as shit. and mad at inadequacies
you've stuck me with, gray anatomy script, or the gift of a loving kiss
and left me to decipher with science or accept with ugly bliss
the shortcomings i've buddied with. you know.
when you handed me a morbid dose,
of pure insanity.... or a passion that dwarfs us both.

So, I guess ridiculous is out, that leaves us with Tropical vs Split

Tropical drew a direct verse from the image. Wording was well enough to convey how Hulk loaths what his ailment keeps from him. At times, a bit underwritten with the wording, but really detailed and felt really well layered. The was o.k., lines could have been smoothed out, good use of assonance in parts, and even got a couple chuckles out of me describing how even in battle his thoughts are set on trivial creature comforts like finding pants that fit him lol . . . . a good verse with some jagged edges that could have been smoothed out and polished a bit more

Your verse was pretty dope. I like that you took a beaten path around the topic, so it came off a bit more creative to me. In some parts i lost the flow.

as an example. ... i had to really struggle to make out a rhyme scheme, at certain points, and often felt like the dots just werent connecting for me.

however, i did find the wording much more intricate, and I liked the more poetic attack on the wording itself.

So with that said, I think tropical has a bit of polishing to do and he will be there. Between the two veres, I found the craftier wording and in-direct/less predictable approach that Split took a bit more enjoyable.

Tropical's Analysis: Tropical for next week make sure you take on your topic in an unexpected & creative way. You need to clean up your lines a bit for a smoother read, then you'll be absolutely fine. You have pretty good diction, nice rhyming & imagery implemented. Just need more complex plots & creativity in them.

Split's Analysis: I appreciated the odd & unexpected rhyme scheme. The direction you took with the topic was also unexpected which was also appreciated. The flow was cool, to me. The imagery was just a bit on top of Tropical's. Creativity was higher than Tropical's too. And the flow was higher. That's what made me decide on Split in the end.
