I thought it was better than the first. It took a lot of what made it good, upped the scale and the stakes, and brought in some cool shit.
Mother Russia alone, with her remixed Tetris theme song was worth it.
I also went in watching it having no clue who any of the actors were that weren't in the first one. So seeing Jim Carrey in it really took my head for a spin, I can't believe a mask actually fooled me.

I love dark comedy. This Is The End was probably my favorite movie of this year.
