my starter went up in my truck last night....so i called work and told them im not working until i can get it fixed....which is tomorrow morning...
so all day ive been home with nothing to d...watching movies and whatever else...

that Kevin Costner movie Water World was on....badass movie....
and it dawned on me how awesome of a game that would make...especially if someone like Rockstar was to do it??? holy fuck that would be the shit....


i think they made a water world game on Atari...and possibly on NES also....but they obviously arent as awesome as this would be....

i liked the movie..i remember going to watch it when i was younger and it played after some other movie (back then the movies were buy one ticket see two movies) and waterworld was the second movie and came on at midnight..

and as you know..that bitch is almost three hours long

i liked it...but it was a bomb in the box office...so that'll never happen...

Pirates! Gold

I played the original Pirates! on an actual Commodore 64. Badass shit, highly recommend it. Because when it comes to movie-video games, the cheap rip-offs are always better because no effort is ever put into movie-games, which is why Waterworld's games sucked.

As for an actual, fresh, original, water sea-faring, post-apocalyptic game, modern game... yeah.. that's actually a pretty bad ass idea. Assuming it's done right.

But any writer worth their salt knows that ideas are a dime a dozen. That doesn't mean shut up and go sit in your corner, on the contrary, ideas are so cheap that I insist you keep them coming. What else you got?

or even a sandbox style game where its open world and your free to build....ride around on your boat and diving underwater gathering parts and building floating cities/big ships/weapons/airships blah blah blah...

id like the sanbox style and GTA style meshed together into dopeness the most though.....

Water World is a movie like Mad Max in a way.....post-apocalyptic setting....gangs rolling around robbing and killing everyone.....except for 2 differences....1. its a kevin costner movie, so its not possible for it to be as bad ass....
and 2. the whole world except for one island is completely covered in water....


so it would be like GTA meets Fallout meets a whole lot of water and sunken cities....
