It's not even the played thing so much. I mean I'm happy to give props to a played bar if it's executed well, even if the flip isn't very fresh. Word at the bland ass personals though. They're the sort of bars that are usually sort of OK, and I might quote them if they either have a little sting or there is just nothing else going on in the verse, but they do get love. But mostly I'm just talking about simple, boring, mad childish-sounding shit. I think people find it witty but personally I just find it really fucking boring.

haha Meters I watched a dope film recently, kinda ridiculous but I found it hilarious so I've been recommending it to everyone I know - Happy End. It's a Czech flick from the 60s, up on YouTube. It's only like 70 minutes but it just pwns in so many directions. You gotta watch it.

The whole thing plays in reverse motion, but the dialogue is dubbed over the top so that you can make sense of it. The basic gist is that this guy goes to prison and is executed for murdering his adulterous wife, but it's narrated as if his life started at his death and will end with his birth. There's a narrator over the top who reinterprets the action that way, as if he was raised in prison and grew to be a baby.

Seriously it's hilarious.

Of all the stuff I've posted in the chat thread, this is probably the most bizarre lol. But it's so great. There are so many good bits, not least when he 'assembles' his wife.

The humour is silly but really inventive, and from a technical standpoint the whole thing is sort of amazing.

I mean it's not like the league is totally fucked up or anything, it's not - I think the best people are the ones with the best records, as it should be, and King, Arch and Toke and Knux etc have all been dropping lots of stuff I like regularly. But roughly half the votes I read just seem bizarre to me, and a few voters in particular I consistently have no idea what the fuck they're thinking lmao.

Personal taste though, innit. No use me going on about it.
