Barring a change in scheduling, the 2011-12 season will open with the Boston Celtics at New York Knicks, followed by Miami at Dallas in an NBA Finals rematch before MVP Derrick Rose and Chicago close the tripleheader against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. I'm looking forward to seeing the new season and I'm also interested to see which team uses the new amnesty clause.

reports are Chandler is going to the Knicks. they'd have to use the amnesty clause on Billups to afford him though. & then reports say they'd try to trade Amare for CP3.
I don't think it's the best idea personally. Chandler can't run, and where he's most valuable is on defense, which the Knicks (and D'antoni) don't do much of.
