Its a good start man, good groove, nice melody, smooth feel to it. But its not very dynamic and gets boring towards the end. Try something other than a reverse crash going into the chorus, and vary it up by placing white noise build ups every 8th measure on the verses. One last thing, the choir on the chorus is emotionally stirring but move it into the last 8 bars of the verse to act as a pre chorus. Then throw some strings over the hook, you could even use the same midi pattern and just change the instrument on your plug in.

This beat was aight, I don't know if it has enough to keep me interested without any rapping on it. I think it needs some more switching up on the drum pattern and perhaps some variation in the drum loop. Not crazy about the police scanner sample, but that might just be because of the lack of context. This would be a good beat with the right lyrics to fit the beat.

It was alright, bit repetitive and lacked variation but it hit good, im sure a rapper would sound nice on it, its more of an emcees beat really, like main loop said. I completely agree with his post
