The trailer looked good for it, and the gf and I were planning on seeing it.

BUTTTTT, when I went to check out movie times, I saw "Contagion" had came out the same week as well. We both wanted to see both of those movies, but since I saw Straw Dogs had a rating of 36% on Rotten Tomato and low audience reviews, decided on seeing Contagion.

Thankfully it seems I made the right choice. I've heard nothing but negative stuff from Straw Dogs. Saw the low ratings, heard a girl at the movie theater talking to some guys about how bad it sucked, and now you said this lol

If I do see it, it'll be for $1.06 on red box

Nothing happens until the last 20 minutes.. and when it does happen .. it's corny as fuck lol.

When people died.. it was supposed to be serious. I laughed @ how pathetic and random the deaths were.

You should check out "I spit on your grave"..There's a pretty intense bear trap scene in there. Seems like Straw Dogs is sort of along the same concept: People get harassed by locals, play the victim in the beginning, then slowly start to fight back. Except Straw Dogs added a man in the picture.

It's a pretty good movie. It's a remake of an older version, but I've only watched the new one.
