i got 200 to spend on a midi keyboard...im looking around and i dont need something insane i mainly want one for sampleing and drums...i was thinking a usb keyboard would be easyest...please help cuz i have no fucking clue which ones the best and all of them of coarse say there the best. PLEASE HELP.

thank u...should i get one with pads or can i use the keys to make drum sounds too...i would assume u could assign any sounds to the keys i just dont no...

you don't need pads, the keys will play whatever VST you load in your software... you load a drum VST, the keys will create drum sounds... the keyboards don't actually play any sound, they just trigger notes according to whatever virtual instrument they're bein' fed...

i have been using m-key and is good. you would basically need one with a pitch, modulation and touch sensor.
