how difficult is it and what do you know about it, lately I've had some ideas involving iphone and ipod apps. I'm just curious how difficult it would be or what things i should be familiar with before venturing into that field. I'm basically curious as to whether I'm better off teaching myself or hooking up with someone already familiar with it. Btw during the development of this app if it is successful i will gladly throw some money in your direction for the help.

It starts off with knowing how to code.. then you'll have to get familiar with the SDK's for the particular operating system you're making apps for. And of course.. you'll need all of the right tools and hardware for it, like a developer phone from the company. So.. basically.. it's kind of tough.. for someone like you.

quo is probably your best bet
i've created 3 apps so far but they're aren't shit. I used script editor which is the easiest scripting language you can learn, but its power is limited. C++, Visual Basic, Python are all real popular; but if you have a make i'd suggest fucking around with script editor just to get your feet wet.
first code I ever wrote was designed to
beep 3 times
then it would que a voice that would say "Hello World. I am a Computer"
followed by a dialog that say "what do you think"
with buttons "Pretty Cool" and "Awesome Sauce with "pretty cool" as the default button.
If you selected pretty cool, it would trigger the computer to say Thanks, Bro
if you selected Awesome Sauce , it would say "I know right"
that was like a 10-15 line code, but it was so gratifying even though it was so small, like ryan's penis.

PS: you need a BUNCH of devices to test on, especially if you step outside of iOS. But even for iOS, you need to test on all the current Apple devices that are in circulation... Which is a lot.
