walter ego: This beat is oh so soulful.. cant even front,this is what the fuck im talkin about.. shits like butter.. so clean.. so smooth... damn.. what can i say.. the snares and drums are so organic..the sample chops are nicely..

Cooper: the mister rogers train track theme in the beginning? im liking this,very funky.. less cleaner than walters.. but just as funky.. oh,the scratching in it stands out.. oh,this is mos def vibe-able.. some too short shit..very oakland ant banks type of bass line..dope!

J-min: very emotional.. dramatic feel.. more story type of beat.. i dunno,has some unique patterns with the drums and snare.. its telling a story thru strings and violins.. melodic,but at the same time has that climatic effect.. seems sorta dreamy..

Fre: comes in very dip set-ish.. chopping pretty well.. drums are cool.. i feel it couldve used some more bang in the drums and the snares are pretty nice.. the sample flips are dope..over all banging track..


overall/-I feel walters beat was just so clean and well put together with his samples and how he constructed them.. all of the beats are very much dope.. and deserve recognition,but walters comes off just so clean and catches/holds ur attention.. props on this selection!!

WalterEgo - inthecity beat
It reminds me of a playing music at some ritzy place. It's peaceful, simple, and yet it's emotional. I like the beat a lot.

Cooper - Smokey
This beat is awesome. I feel like blasting this shit with a boombox while walking down a street. I like the distortion. It's got attitude, and lots of style. This beat comes a bit more personal to me more than the others.

Jmin - serenity
Very dreamy kind of beat. It seems to be a bit depressive, yet hopeful for what lies in store for the the future. I love the harp, and the harmonious mix of instruments. Very well put together beat.

Fre - Time on my hands
This beat sounds epic...but it just seems a bit to epic for me. I wasn't really feeling this beat. It just sounded too repetitive, there was very little progression...
