lol.. min requirements are a 'guide', but not a definitive guide. Basically a 'loose idea' of what should be needed.
I can run the newest games with moderate-high settings even though i have an integrated video chipset. You will NEVER come across a set of minimum requirements that doesn't list a dedicated video card.

great game, probably the best Free to play FPS out right now. Can hold its own against other FPS' as well. Was definitely worth the money spent when it wasn't free. The whole cartoon look and the easy going attitude (other than the players, because all PC gamers are assholes in their own right) make it really enjoyable. Been playing since Aug of '08 and haven't been bored yet, great re-play value. Usually play payload a lot but have recently been playing attack/defend and CP, only play CTF on Turbine though. My steam is BisQuitos is anyone wants to jump in a game with me.

the TF@ crowd is a lot different than normal PC gamer attitudes though....

That is true, there's a lot of... "absent minded" people on TF2. You do have the option of insulting them but most of the time they don't catch on and just assume you want to be friends since you're giving them attention. At least they're not like the new breed of FPS players that are terrible but insist they are the best and anytime you put them down it's pure luck or you're obviously cheating one way or another.
I mostly play Heavy >> Medic >> Sniper, in that order now. Though I started off as a Soldier. With all the new weapons and such, the gameplay strategy has changed quite a bit. Jumping into servers with brand new people gives me a chance to tinker around with the other classes and their different weapons a bit more.
Just add me and drop a line whenever the situation allows.

New classes? I'm mostly talking about the influx of new players since the game went free. Though, with the amount of new weaponry, the classes do have a new feel to them. You should definitely pick the game up again.
