yeah i feel that..cant say i dont want one, thats for sure..im DEFINITELY going to be buying one of those controllers, them shits are ill...
just do your research thoroughly before purchasing..they've licensed the right to produce and sell them with the Steam brand on it to 12 different companies, and there will be a shitload of different versions..
but you know, Valve released the SteamOS for it for free...along with blueprints for a 3D Printer to make a proper box to hold the parts...and instructions on how to build one yourself...
