Why can't Mods or Admins be ignored ?

actually i only included Admins because that is in the message that pops up. i don't think you should be able to ignore Super Mods or Admins.

but why can't Mods be ignored ? especially the crew mods who aren't really mods at all ?

just wondering. i personally have tried to throw a couple on ignore to limit my own bickering with them and you can't even do it ? is this something that vb just doesn't allow or is this a RB thing ?

i think the option to ignore anyone would be a great addition and possibly cut back on fighting amongst people.

I'm assuming it has to do with the "staff" user group. For whatever reason, crew mods, who aren't mods at all, fall into this group due to the coding. Meaning their in a "special" category that allows them to not be ignored.

But I'm sure it's set up that way to prevent someone from going unseen by the staff. Say a new member wants to spam the site, and they can put all of staff on the ignore list, it would take quite awhile longer to get them banned if that was the case.

It is just a RB setting, in vbulletin there is an option to allow users to ignore admins and mods if they wish, the problem is last I knew it was all one option, so to allow people to block mods also allows them to block admins.

I agree.. crew mods should be allowed to be ignored. Most of them are fags anyway.
