I love the old timers who always come back and say it was better back "in the good ole' days"..I hear it all the time, especially with music and sports....."Basketball isn't the same anymore...Remember back when bird and magic played?"..No, shut up....It's just as good if not better than ever.

Every single season had it's good and bad emcees I'm sure. When people look back though they tend to only remember the good and not the bad. If you'd open your mind though, you'd realize that this season is turning out to be one of the better ones of late

edit:unlike like lay though, spit has actually embraced this and is still coming dope as fuck. It's stupid to come in here and tell someone they were better back in the day. That's a cop out and an excuse when people say it about themself "I used to be better back in like 06"...no, you probably weren't, you just battled at a time when concepts were simpler and wording wasn't as crisp. You might have been relatively better, but only because text has evolved and left you behind...I'm sure if you compared a spit verse from 06 and one from now, the one from now would be better...that's nothing against how good he was back than, it's just saying that people improve over time.
