I tried posting a link to one of my raps in the freestyles and songs thread an it got closed. My link was right on my first post. I am unclear why it was closed?

If that link was to a song of yours on another site then it's pretty obvious why it was closed. If you want to post music and/or text pieces then post it, but don't post a link to it.
