Carl Sagan is that dude..this is a snippet taken from his PBS series "The Cosmos" which is hailed to be one of, if not THE, best television series of all time..it explains the nature of everything we can know up to this point in such a subtle way, that a human who can not understand it, is simply not human..its a great series, i recommend you all watch it..

my dad bought this when i was a kid, a very young kid.
i sat there and absorbed a lot of it. even at age five, there was something magnetic there.
