The Slaughter Rules and Regulations
Matches are set Monday.
Check ins are Due on Wednesday at 11:59PM Pacific
Verses are due Friday at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Standard Time
Voting ends Sunday at 11:59 PM PST
Extensions have to be asked for 24 hours before the dead line and must be agreed upon by both battlers
An extension is 24 hours after the original deadline
and is for both ppl
2 No shows in a month, and ur out of the league
HW Line requirment is Min. 12 lines Max. 20
LW Line requirment is Min. 10 lines Max. 18
The 1st person to drop determines line requirment for that specific match
2nd person must match this, or -1 vote per bar missing or extra
Do not edit ur verse after you drop make sure what you post is what you want
If you need to fix spelling, or grammar, or anything but the actual content of ur verse PM a mod here and we will do it for you, so there is no suspicion or accusations
Nobody can change their Avatar, Usertitle or Signature, if your opponnent has a punch about it, until the battle has been decided
Battlers have the right to say who cannot vote in their match, but this MUST be done in the initial check in.
FREEPOSTING - In any battle including yours will not be tolerated depending on the severity and quantity of free post, you can get -votes in ur battle to a ban so do not do it.
The following will result in DQ or -votes at a mods discretion
**If you do not check in by Wednesday 11:59PM PST you will be dq'd
Matches that have an opponent not checkin and be dq'd will be recombined with a battler in the same scenario
if you check in and do not drop you'll be out for 2 weeks**
Feeding (Using anything in ur opponents verse against them, or in ur favor)
Swaying (Saying anything about votes, or ur opponents verse, or saying ur verse is better) I will be strict on this
Biting/recycling (Using lines or bars from anyone else's verse, on any site or anywhere)
If you are caught biting you will be banned for life from this league
and you will be reported to admins for proper handling of the issue
VOTING Requirments and Regulations
HW battlers are required 5 votes
LW battlers are required 5 votes
LW members are restricted to only voting in LW matches
HW can vote in either, but are encouraged to vote in HW matches first
TagTeams are required 2 voting links
If you have a tag match only
If you have a Regular Divsion match plus an additional TagTeam match, add 2 links
For a total of 7 links
This league is for battlers who are responsible and been here long enough to know what kind of voting is discouraged
Voting must be one of the following types
Bar4Bar - A bar for bar break down,is just as it sounds you break down each bar and say what you liked or disliked about it
With at least 3 sentences at the end with an overall explanantion for your vote
Quotables - This type of voting you choose your favorite lines from each and then you must write at least 5 sentences for each verse explaining why you liked or disliked those bars. You must conclude with an overall, and who you voted for
Categorical - A categorical break down is where you give a score to each battler concerning the following categories
Nameplay-
Worplay-
Multies-
Punches-
Concepts/Creativity-
Enjoyment-
Overall-
You can score each up to 5. The top score for each is 5\5, and the highest possible score is 35\35
You must score each battler like this, and the person with highest score wins
If a tie occurs, you must pick one, by writing a 5 sentence explanation
0 points scored is possible
These are the only acceptable methods of voting here
If you sign in to this league you are required the following
- To check in by thursday at 11:59, if you do not, it's an auto - 2 votes per day you don't check in
- Request Extensions, 24 hours before deadline ur opponent must agree
- Let a mod know if u will not be able to drop at all that week so we can find a replacement or act on it on time
- All ur voting Links -1 per missing link
- Inform a mod of problems instead of just arguing about it with anyone
FIGHT NIGHT
Fight Night will be every 4th week, or at the end of the month
This day, will include the HW Championship Match
The 2 in this match will be chosen according to best record, and best showing during the month
The champion of this will recieve the HW medal
The HW with the worst record and worst showing will be demotted to LW
LW 's best 2 record and showing will have a match, the winner of whom will be promoted to HW
The person with the worst record and worst showing in LW will be demotted to FL
2 ppl from FL will be chosen by us and to have a battle that night the winner of which will be allowed into the LW Division
The 2 Tag Teams with the best record and showing, will also have a battle this night, the winner of which will become the tag team champions, and each will recieve a medal
These matches will be chosen by GOW and I
Ur record alone will get you no where, if you have no show wins, or no show verses
You must have the best records, against the best opponents, and drop a good verse even when no showed
Also to qualify you must meet ur voting requirements
