I used a Classic not too long ago because they have a huge HDD on there. Enough for all my music. 64GB's just ain't enough. And Classic's are good for people who don't care for apps, like me. I want an mp3 player for mp3's, not games and random ass apps.

i wondered that my damn self, i had cds hundreds of them for the longest til the newest touch came out, or atleast it was the newest one when i got it. my sister had a classic i just wanted the touch, she never and still doesn't use her classic.
