now what is done wrong is that the fxs been put in edit mode is constant throughout the track that you put it in. There is nowhere balancing of effects level as you wish. plus Cant use 2 or more parallel Fxs. If i used 1st a compressor, and then 2nd reverb in edit mode then already compressed track would suffer reverb rather than the original track. if i applied 7/8 fxs in edit mode, shits gets added and added. you can imagine how it'd sound, the mix would duck sauce.

Yeh i understand wat your saying, i hope your not taking wat i say in response at all as an arguement......also with the Fx editing in other places, yeh i know you can do it somewhere else besides the where i show u, its on the left i believe but i just rather use wat i was use to

in audition the first thing i did was add effects in edit mode, the reason being was i watched a tutorial like this...but having said that for some reason it just seemed the logical place to do it...i still never used the mixer in auditon tho, i inserted fx and mixed on the main multitrack view....

But with protools its so easy to mix in the mix window

Are you using aa3 or an older version? Because what ever channel your using to record your vocals in, the fx is kind of to the top right of it in a sense.

The other way is easier and gives better results. You should try it.
