Leading up to Call of Duty: Black Ops

Gameplay
The game offers gameplay elements that are new to Call of Duty games, such as piloting a helicopter or flying a jet. The game also offers weaponry that were popular at the time and then some. The developers have explained that the soldiers part of Black Ops got to use prototype weapons, weapons that would appear on the battlefield years later. Which is why the game lets you play with shotguns that have ammo that's on fire ("Dragon's Breath") and crossbows. Like in other Call of Duty games, Black Ops relies on big set pieces, including one where your helicopter is shot down while your rappelling down from it. Confirmed areas that you'll explore are Laos, other regions of Vietnam and a snowy mountain base.

Black Ops will have a competitive multiplayer mode as well as a co-op mode that's totally separate from the main single player campaign.


Multiplayer
Black Ops will take the multiplayer formula established by Modern Warfare 2 and evolve it to include new features like Create-A-Class 2.0, which will allow players to extensively customize not only their weapons (with things like decals or icons) but their character's actual appearance as well. Killstreaks and titles will also return.


Weapons
Many weapons have already been officially announced that they will be in the game. As with previous Call of Duty installments, weapons are separated into different categories. However, unlike in previous installments, in Black Ops, Shotguns and Machine Pistols will be available under Primary Weapon.

Fuck yeah. I'm pretty stoked for that. Should be dopeness. All the customizable options could make Black Ops the best COD so far. As long as they have dedicated servers to go along with it all. And they best Beta test this bitch, and patch all possible glitches before the game drops.

I'm pretty stoked for this game, actually. And that RC Car shit is gonna be nasty, lol. Its only a 3 killstreak reward, too!
