    Best recording software?

That's really not true. Some programs are much more capable of different things than others.

    Re: Best recording software?

When your talking about mix mode, are you talking about in aa3 or just in general? aa3 has a "mixing workspace" but it just brings the mixer up. I never use that. I do all my mixing in the workspace I record in...so Multitrack view, and in your words, some "destructive" things in edit mode. I went trhough what I would do in edit mode, and the only thing I came up with is cutting and normalzing. I normalize everything to 0db then i can change w.e I want or just turn it down in the mixer if I have different vocals routed to there own track.

and opey, is this the tutorial you wanted me to look at?

Shiiiet, wehre'd it go? I remember I looked a few weeks ago and they were stickied in some part of this audio forum. Now they're gone, or am I not seeing it?

    Best recording software?

    I meant multitrack view.

There's no reason to normalize anything.

All those tutorials you posted a few years ago, they were all stickied in this forum a few weeks ago but I can't find them. I think they were in the tutorial subforum of here. Maybe keeb moved them?

    Best recording software?

I have no idea. They're not my tutorials tho. I reposted all of them a long time ago. Actually, a lot of them suck.

    Best recording software?

The only tutorials I ever write are answers to people's questions. I just told you to search my posts for whatever you were looking for.

Yeuh, just the last word though. If you can automate volume in aa3, I'm sure you can automate other things, just I'm not seeing how to do it.

    Best recording software?

Check the manual. It should at least have volume, pan, and fx envelopes.

    Re: Best recording software?

OK iKNow how to well obvisouly not use these things or else I wouldnt be posting. But When I open the envelope and make points where I want to echo then press play it does't work. And it doesn't give me the same options when I click on echo in the envelope then if I were to use it in the FX racks. It only gives me echo EQ. And I didn't automate my recording, is that way its not working?
